I worked on Second Stage and Payload structures prior to first flight. My main projects included honeycomb core sandwich panel and machined metallic secondary structure assemblies that supported propulsion and avionics components.

I analyzed these assemblies, conducted dynamic testing campaigns on the shaker table, and supported integration for flight builds. I owned aluminum, steel, and titanium structures, wrote test plans, analysis documentation, and build instructions.

I used FEMAP and NX Simcenter to complete modal and linear structural analyses.

    • Yield, ultimate, bending

    • Pre-load calculations

    • Huth method CBUSH stiffnesses

    • Potted insert allowables calculated in-house via coupon testing
